The field note
A card on the month's species: where it grows wild, how and when to sow it, and what comes to feed on it.
Something to keep
A botanical print fit to frame, a sheet of illustrated stickers, a hand-drawn postcard. Different every month.

A year of sowing
Native seed keeps its own calendar. The club follows it.
Autumn
March – May
The great sowing season. The soil still warm, the rains on their way — sow the week it arrives.
Winter
June – August
Seed for cool soil, and seed to keep until spring. The field note says which.
Spring
September – November
The second window, for the warmth-lovers — frangipani, hibiscus, the paper daisies.
Summer
December – February
Seed for a warm bed, and seed to set aside for autumn rain.

How it works

On its own or alongside other seed. Your first packet comes in that parcel.

A packet each month
$15 on the same date each month, delivery included, and the month's envelope is posted to you.
- Step 3
Stay as long as you like
Change your card or address, or cancel, with a code sent to your email — no account needed. Cancelling stops the next charge; the month you have paid for still arrives.
