Native frangipani is a flowering tree found in the rainforests of Eastern NSW and Queensland. In your garden, it’s likely to grow 6-10m tall as a narrow, layered tree, and in late spring to early summer you’ll see soft yellow into deep orange flowers blooming carrying a honeyed scent.
These seeds are woody and flattened, surrounded by thin, papery wings. No pre-treatment is needed, making them stand out among Australian natives as one of the more simple and straightforward seed to grow. Ideally sow September - November.
